Egg Biryani Recipe

Egg Biryani,in this Post I have shared the recipe of egg biryani with step by step photos.checkout the recipe and make a try.Biryani is one of the famous recipe of India.Almost everyone loves to eat biryani.There are various versions of biryani like Veg Biryani,Paneer biryani,Fish Biryani,Mutton Biryani,Mushroom Biryani,chicken Biryani,Soy Biryani,etc.

In various parts of India,the preparations of biryani differs and tastes also differs.meanwhile checkout my other Biryani Recipes.

Ingredients

Egg-4

Basmati Rice-1 1/4 cup

Onion-1 large Sliced

Tomato-2 large Sliced

Green Chili-1

Chili powder-2 tsp

Coriander leaves-1/4 cup chopped

Mint leaves-1/2 Cup Chopped

Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp

Salt as required

Oil-5 tsp

Ghee-2 tbsp

lemon juice-1 tbsp

Biryani Spice

Cinnamon-1 inch stick

Cloves-3

Bay leaf-1

Star anise-1

Cardamom pods-3

Pre preparation

Soak Basmati Rice in water for 1/2 an hr.

Step by Step Photo Recipe

1.Add Egg in water and Boil for 10mins.

2.Once ready,remove the shell and make a slit.

3.Add 1 tbsp oil in kadai.

4.Add 1/2 tsp Chili powder.

5.Saute for 2 mins and keep aside.

6.Add 4tsp oil and 2 tbsp ghee in Pressure Cooker.

7.Add whole spices.

8.Now add Onions and Salt.

9.Saute till it turns golden brown.

10.Add Ginger garlic paste and green chili.

11.Once Raw smell goes off add Tomatoes.

12.Cook till it becomes soft and mushy.

13.Add Coriander leaves and mint leaves in a blender and blend Smoothly.

14.Add the paste and cook till raw smell goes off.

15.Now goes in curd and Red choli powder.

16.Saute for 2 mins.

17.Add 2 1/2 cups of water.

18.Once it starts to boil add soaked rice and eggs.

19.Add 1 tbsp lemon juice.

20.Once the level of rice and water becomes equal,close the lid and pressure cook for 1 Whistle.

21.After the pressure gets released completely,open the lid and mix.

Notes

1.Adjust Chili Powder more or less.
