Kollu Rasam/Soup

Kollu Chutney

Ingredients

Kollu-1/2 Cup Cooked

Onion-1 medium size Sliced

Red Chilies-5

Curry Leaves-1 Sprig

Coriander Leaves-1 tbsp

Coconut grated-1/4 Cup

Oil-1 tbsp

Mustard Seeds and Urad dal-1 tsp

Salt as required

Step by Step Photo Recipe

1.Add 1/2 Cup Kollu in Pressure Cooker.

2.Add 2 Cup water.

3.Cook till it becomes soft.

4.Once Pressure gets released extract water from kollu.

5.Heat a kadai and add Oil.

6.Add Mustard Seeds and Urad dal and allow it to splutter.

7.Add Onion.

8.Then add Curry leaves.

9.Further add Red Chiles and cook till onions becomes soft.

10.Now add Cooked Kollu.

11.Add Salt and cook for 2 mins.

12.Add Coriander leaves.

13.Finally add grated coconut and cook for 1 min.

Notes

1.Add Red Chilies more or less.

2.You can have the extracted kollu water simply by adding salt and pepper or you can make kollu chutney.
