Ingredients:
Vazhaipoo/Banana Blossom-1 Big Flower
Onion-1 Medium Sized Chopped
Green Chili-4 Medium Sized Chopped
Curry Leaves-1 Sprig
Coriander Leaves-1 tsp
Coconut grated-2 tsp
Turmeric Powder-1/2 tsp
Oil-2 tsp
Mustard Seeds,Urad dal and Chana dal-1 tsp
Salt as needed
Step by Step Photo Recipes:
1.Peel the petals of the blossom and collect Florets.
9.After it Splutters add Onions,Chilies,Curry Leaves and Coriander Leaves and cook till Onions becomes soft
10.Further add Cooked Banana Blossom,1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder and needed Salt and cook for 5 mins in medium flame.
11.Finally add grated Coconut and Mix and Switch off the Flame.
Serve with Hot Rice.
Notes:
- if using Shallots add 10 to 12.

Vazhaipoo/Banana Blossom-1 Big Flower
Onion-1 Medium Sized Chopped

Directions
- Peel the petals of the blossom and collect Florets.
- Apply Oil in Hands and Start removing the Calyx Part and Pistil part from each of the Florets.
- Once removed Chop the Florets and Immerse in Rice Water for 5 Mins(to remove stickiness).
- Add the Washed Florets in Pressure Cooker with needed Water.
- Further add 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder and Pressure cook for 3 Whistles.
- Once ready strain and Keep aside.
- Heat a Kadai and add Oil.
- Once the Oil is hot,add Mustard Seeds,Urad dal and Chana dal.
- After it Splutters add Onions,Chilies,Curry Leaves and Coriander Leaves and cook till Onions becomes soft
- Further add Cooked Banana Blossom,1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder and needed Salt and cook for 5 mins in medium flame.
- Finally add grated Coconut and Mix and Switch off the Flame.
- Serve with Hot Rice.
